A totally delightful stay at THE PAINTED LADY this wkend. EVERYTHING was top notch: the room, amenities, breakfast, comfort, hospitality, price, location, and just everything one could desire if you're wanting pampering & relaxation. The "Over-the-top" plusses: Proprietress-Jennifer Miller told to us background history and ghost stories of the 1890 built home of the Burris family (during breakfast). Her culinary talents were displayed in the ham/spinach quiche, assorted fruits with yogurt dip, & homemade blueberry muffins. Juice & flavored coffees completed the fabulous breakfast. The "Hello Dollies" treats upon arrival were "to die for" also. For us, the player piano welcoming us was an unexpected treat! Highly recommend this for anyone who can appreciate antiques & true southern hospitality.
