Housed in a structure that was originally built as a girls' dormitory for the Mississippi Synodical College during the early 20th century, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; the Marshall County Historical Museum's exhibits include such items as Civil War artifacts, a collection of taxidermy animals indigenous to Mississippi, flapper girl clothing from the 1920's, Victorian children's books, an antique Victrola, items made by the Native American tribes of Mississippi, the first private bathtub ever owned in Holly Springs, quilts, Elvis records, old advertisements, antique bottles, dollhouses, sports memorabilia, and promotional materials from past presidential campaigns.
