website
One of Mississippi's few examples of a Gothic Revival-style residence and one of only a few antebellum homes left standing after Jackson was burned by the Union troops; the Manship was the home of Charles Henry Manship, the mayor of Jackson during the Civil War. Filled with period furniture, "the home interprets the daily life of an interesting 19th-century Mississippi family through the house the family lived in for so many years." Tours are available.
