The Mississippi Governor's Mansion is the second oldest continuously occupied governor's residence in the United States. A National Historic Landmark, the Mississippi Governor's Mansion is considered by architectural historians "to be one of the finest surviving examples of the Greek Revival style in the United States." The historic section of the Governor's Mansion is normally open to the public Tuesday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Guided tours are given every half-hour beginning at 9:30 a.m. The last tour begins at 11:00 a.m. The Mansion is closed to the public during the last two weeks in December.
