My car was burglarized at this park on Monday March 14, 2011 at approximately 6:30pm. I went for a run with my boyfriend and when we got back, my front passenger window was busted and someone stole my purse from the floor of the backseat. It took the police at least 20 minutes to get there and I have been investigating the incident myself. The thief immediately purchased gas on all of my credit cards. I went to the stations to try to get a video, but so far no luck. Apparently the apartments across the street from the park have some tenants who are watching the parking lot until no one is around the cars. I wasn't the first person, but I hope to be the last. DO NOT JOG AT THIS PARK!!! AT LEAST NOT UNTIL THEY HAVE 24 HR SECURITY.
