Located on what was originally the Boddie Plantation, this historically black private liberal arts college boasts a beautiful campus with Spanish moss dripping from centuries-old trees and many historic buildings. The Coleman Library contains many documents, tapes, photographs, and artifacts pertaining to the civil rights struggle. Tours lasting about one and one-half hours are offered.
