What is wrong with a digital camara when, it's turned on and in the diaplay screen it says lens error???

i have tha same issue is one of your previous commenters... my camera was working fine one day than all of a sudden my piccs are very blurry now everytime i turn my camera on the screen says lens error :(

What is wrong with the camera when you put a new battery in the camera, take one picture, then the battery is dead? Can the camera be fixed?
