The First Presbyterian Church of Kosciusko from 1899 to 1984, the Kosciusko-Attala Historical Society's Mary Ricks Thornton Cultural Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Now used for meetings of the historical society, weddings, club programs, recitals, lectures and more, the Mary Ricks Thornton Cultural Center includes the Delta Gamma Memorial Room, which honors the memory of Mary Comfort Leonard, Eva Webb Dodd and Anna Boyd Ellington, Kosciusko natives who founded Delta Gamma in 1873.
