The sanctuary is "the oldest Presbyterian structure in North Mississippi and the oldest church building of any denomination in the Oxford area." The pulpit, pews, and the pew gates are the original furnishings. Union troops of Generals Grant and Sherman were camped on the grounds during the Civil War. Author William Faulkner was married here. The church cemetery contains unmarked Union soldiers' graves, slave burial sites, and Confederate soldiers' burial sites. The Sunday worship service begins at 10:30 a.m.
