The Nanih Waiya Cave Site is closed at this time. I remember having picnics there as a child. I recently took my son there, only to find it locked up. I hope the new chief will help to make this sacred cave and the mound a place for tourists once again. They made August 18th a tribal holiday due to the return of the mound because the state stopped maintaining the park. These areas are in a condition of disrepair. SOMEONE HELP!!!
