Representing local and regional artists of Mississippi, the Vicksburg Art Association has meetings scheduled September to May on the second Tuesday of each month. Their permanent collection includes works by Caroline Compton, considered one of the state's premiere artists. Special group shows and featured presentations are held monthly.
