I am writing to share my story regarding ancestry many people have done these tests and have gotten connected to family. In my case it is slightly different. When I was born I was raised with my maternal grandmother up until I was almost a year old a family meeting was then called as my grandmother's health started to decline regarding my mom's children at the time three of us lived with our grandmother and my mom was a free spirit as I like to call her. So I went to live with my uncle and his wife to be the only girl and the baby in their home. Growing up we were poor and I got teased a lot for being so skinny and poor. I hated my life especially the fact I was so thin. I knew my biological mother she would come and get me from time to time but was still a free spirit up until I was about 10 she then cleaned herself up and met my brother's father and my little brother was born and I couldn't have been more happier I always thought I was going back to live with her but unfortunately she passed away before I turned 12 from heart complications. As I was growing up I asked everyone did they know who my dad was I was told several different names so when the internet came about I began searching for the names I had been told but to no avail so here I am 41 years old and by now I have no parents. My adopted parents and my biological mother are deceased. I got engaged in December of 2019 and I told my Fiance I do not want a big wedding because I have no parents especially a Dad. My uncle encouraged me to do ancestry test on myself so i did that in October. when I got my results & I matched closely to a gentlemen with the last name of Bell this is not a name I have ever heard. SO I reached out to them on ancestry and come to find out my dad lives in Woodville, Mississippi and I just met him this past weekend he never knew I even existed and I never knew of him. We might as well be identical twins we look so much alike and I see where I got my thin frame from after all this time. Please feel free to contact me 773 719 6375
