Located in the downtown area, in a handsome old school building dating from 1904. It is considered by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History to be one of the finest examples of a turn of the twentieth century school left in the state. Transformed now, it contains a theatre, a dance studio, facilities for art exhibitions as well as art and pottery classes, and meeting room available to civic organizations. The Center also houses the Yazoo Historical Society Museum.
