Established in 1979, the Delta Blues Museum is an internationally-acclaimed museum in the historic Clarksdale freight depot that showcases the history and significance of the blues in this region. Mississippi's oldest music museum, the Delta Blues Museum's large collection of artifacts includes musical instruments, recordings, sheet music, posters, photographs, costumes, folk art and paintings.
