Offering five guestrooms and three suites that take their names from literary figures, this bed and breakfast features the elegance of an earlier time infused with modern conveniences and amenities. One of the eight guest rooms, the Zelda Retreat, is a five room suite that includes all 1,000 square feet of the third floor. The newest suite, Griffin Cottage consists of three suites, is the most romantic, luxurious suite in the South. Pet friendly suites. All of the rooms have king-sized beds, private baths, most of which include a whirlpool and shower. A full breakfast served family style in the formal dining room is included. Awarded AAA four diamond only one of six Bed and Breakfasts in North Carolina receive that honor. Also, awarded 2009 Forbes Choice award.
