North Carolina's most famous architect, Richard Sharp Smith, who also designed the Biltmore House and many other historical North Carolina buildings, designed this magnificent turn-of-the-century Arts and Crafts style bed and breakfast inn. The idyllic landscaped grounds of the inn feature a fishpond and beautifully landscaped gardens. Seven well appointed guest rooms are available, all with queen sized beds, quilts, fine linens, and private baths. Most of the rooms also have working fireplaces. A full breakfast served in the lovely formal dining room is included.
