North Carolina's most famous architect, Richard Sharp Smith, who also designed the Biltmore House and many other historical North Carolina buildings, designed this magnificent turn-of-the-century Arts and Crafts style bed and breakfast inn. The idyllic landscaped grounds of the inn feature a fishpond and beautifully landscaped gardens. In the main house, three rooms have king-beds and three are queen bedded. In addition there is a small cottage on the property with a king-bed and a day-ed. Most of the rooms also have working fireplaces. A full breakfast served in the lovely formal dining room is included.
