The largest ski area in North Carolina, the Sugar Mountain Resort boasts a 1,200-foot vertical. This resort offers 20 trails and 8 lifts spread out over 115 acres. Sugar’s tubing park offers 700-foot long tubing runs serviced by two lifts. Group and private lessons are available from over 70 instructors. Skis, snowboards, boots, binding, poles, snowshoes, skiboards, and other gear may be rented.
