Blowing Rock’s first true boarding house, the Hemlock House was refurbished and additions were made after being sold in 1929. Although most rooms offer a rustic mountain feel, others have been decorated in a more modern decor. All guest rooms feature private baths, cable television, air conditioning, microwave ovens, and refrigerators.
