Affiliated with Brevard College, Castle Rock Institute is an off-campus wilderness center for the Humanities. Students can receive a full semester of college credit through four courses, including comparative religions, philosophy, literature, and studio art, while participating in group outdoor adventure activities such as camping, rock climbing, backpacking, and paddling. Such courses take place in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.
