The site of the Reverend and Mrs. Burwell's School for Young Ladies, this historic schoolhouse includes an 1821 two-story frame house, an 1840 brick music building, an 1840 brick necessary house, and beautiful formal gardens. Guided tours are available that focus on the family, their slaves, and the school's students.
