Aldous Huxley once said that this Neo-Gothic masterpiece was "the most beautiful and successful experiment in neogothic form in the world." This chapel is one of the most popular features in North Carolina and represents one of the last great collegiate Gothic projects in the United States. Features of the chapel include a 5,200 pipe Flentrop Organ, stained glass windows, a 50 pound bell carillon, and a 210-foot tower.
