This was the home of James Iredell, a North Carolina Superior Court Judge and Attorney General during the American Revolution and an Associate Justice on the first U.S. Supreme Court. It was also the birthplace of James Iredell Jr., Governor of North Carolina between 1827 and 1828. This site is not open to the public.
