Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this cemetery was officially founded in 1828 although the oldest date on a headstone inside the cemetery dates back to 1724. An important collection of gravestones and cast-iron fences that illustrate funeral traditions of the 19th and early 20th centuries are located throughout the cemetery.
