The former home of Governor John Motley Morehead, this beautiful mansion is surrounded by four acres of beautiful gardens. The main structure, an Italianate mansion, was built onto an original four-room farm house that was constructed on the site in 1790s and has been beautifully refurnished with historical period furnishings.
