A National Historic Site, this 264-acre working farm was the estate of Carl Sandburg, a nationally renowned American poet, historian author and lecturer. The house contains his collection of 10,000 books, papers, and notes and the estate features numerous hiking trails and a functional goat barn. Daily tours are available.
