The Iron Horse Station Inn and Restaurant is located on the Appalachian Trail in the scenic downtown area across from the Hot Springs Spa and white water rafting on the French Broad River. The Historic building complex was lovingly restored in 2005 and houses 14 well appointed but reasonably priced guestrooms, a delightful restaurant and tavern, and shops that feature local artisans. All the rooms have private baths, air conditioning and handcrafted beds with ultra-comfotable Englander mattresses.
