We have just returned from a tent camping trip to Carolina Beach Family Campground. We had a great experience which reinforced the "Don't judge a book by it's cover" saying. Like most, our first reaction was dubious, wondering if the campground was well cared for. We soon learned via interacting iwth Judy, the manager that caring for the campground and the campers is 5 Star. The facilities were clean and well kept. The campground was packed this Memorial Day weekend. We met many wonderful people. We learned that many returned to the campground for generations, others like us learned of it on line. What a wonderful collection and variety of people, vehicles and tents of many ages, races, and economic status. Our choice and circumstance make camping our primary mode of vacationing. Thank you and the owner and staff at the Carolina Beach Family Campground for providing the place for us to enjoy the attractions of Carolina Beach.
