The last surviving structure of its kind and the largest brick plantation in North Carolina, this magnificent plantation is a great example of the Georgian style of the pre-Revolutionary period. The house is approached by two long driveways, one lined by old cedars, and Georgian handcrafted woodwork greets visitors at this imposing eight paneled door. Guided tours are available by appointment only.
