Sandy Garden cottage is a newly built, three bedroom, two bathroom, 1500 square foot cottage on the Neuse River in New Bern. The cottage is set right in the middle of a lovely perennial garden. You can sit on the screened porch and watch the birds, pelicans, otters, geese, and ducks, or the waterman pulling up his catch. The great room is light and airy and feels very tranquil with it's shades of blue and white. Two of the three bedrooms face the river and so you can feel the river breezes while laying in bed watching the seagulls. New Bern is a beautiful, historic, small town. There are all of the historic sights, as well as, the natural beauty of the area. Sandy Garden brings the two together in harmony.
