Jack J. Broadhurst (DVM '70) of Pinehurst, N.C. Broadhurst, who owns the Cat Health Clinic in Pinehurst, helped diagnose North Carolina's first cases of both feline Bartonellosis and Cytauxzoan felis. He recently won a patent on his novel approach to using neuraminidase inhibitors to treat a variety of infectious diseases.
