The only public park in the nation solely dedicated to the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this colorful park contains over 8,000 flowering plant and trees that encircle a life-sized bronze statue of Dr. King. There is also a 12 ton granite water monument that honors other notable pioneers in the civil rights movement.
