A beautiful historic park that includes an Antebellum mansion that was home to the Lane family, a very influential Raleigh family, and is filled with 18th and 19th century furnishings. The surrounding plantation offers exhibits that detail plantation life as it was in its heyday plus features a small house that was the birthplace of President Andrew Johnson.
