Originally housing the Governor's office, cabinet offices, legislative chambers, the state library, and state geologist's office, this National Historic Landmark building has been beautifully restored to its original appearance and is one of the best preserved examples of Greek Revival style architecture in a civic building. The Governor and Lieutenant Governor currently maintain offices on the first floor.
