This is one of the nicest, easy going, laid back campgrounds in the Cherokee area....yes the Cherokee area...it's a short drive for a well worth it place to camp and not far from the area attractions.
You meet the nicest people camping.....well, at Timberlake you meet the nicest campground owners.....Betty is an amazing senior with a genuine personality and her better half...Chuck is a knowledgeable likeable person who you can sit and chat with for hours........This is no KOA, Jellystone cookie cutter rv parking lot.This is a campground from the decades gone by with some up to date amenities...do your self a favour and make it your next camping excursion while in the Cherokee, Bryson City and Whittier area.
