Located in Kernersville, just ten miles east of Winston-Salem, this building is touted the "strangest house in the world." This architectural oddity was built by Jule Korner and rises to 100 feet in height, creating a striking structure that includes 22 rooms on three floors and seven levels with ceilings ranging from six to 25 feet, and no two doors or windows in a room that are alike. The house includes a theatre that was used by the Korner children, 20 unique fireplaces of differing designs, decorative murals by German master Caesar Milch, and elaborate tile and woodwork.
