Hawk's Nest Ridge

A 100-acre area owned by the Carrington Kiwanis Club, Hawk's Nest Ridge is a butte 300 feet higher than the surrounding plains known as "the Hawk's Nest." This undeveloped, unfenced area has one of the few remaining native stands of buffalo grass and pine oaks. Hiking, birding, camping, skiing and tobogganing are just some of the recreational activities enjoyed at Hawk's Nest Ridge.
