A re-created prairie town of more than 20 buildings, the Frontier Village features original buildings from the frontier villages of North Dakota that have been moved here and filled with antiques and artifacts. The Frontier Village also includes the Kirkpatrick Gallery, Louis L'Amour Writer's Shack, the circa 1880 Northern Pacific Railroad Depot, the first railroad depot in Jamestown; shops selling handmade goods and souvenirs, the General Store, an outdoor amphitheater, stagecoach and pony rides, the World's Largest Buffalo Monument, National Buffalo Museum, and a live herd of buffalo.
