The On-a-Slant Village contains six faithfully reconstructed earth lodges as they would have appeared when the Mandan people lived and traded in the Heart River area before disease and war came. Daily guided tours run every half-hour from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
