  Listed on the National Register of Historical Sites, next to the McHenry Hobo House; the McHenry Railroad Loop is the only remaining "end-of-the-line" turn-around railroad loop in North America. The loop and the museum are open on the first and third Sundays of June, July and August, the first Sunday in September or by appointment.
