Currently operated under the Geographical Center Historical Society, the seasonal Prairie Village Museum was established in 1964. This museum’s historical displays include a wildlife display, collection of antique guns, Indian and Eskimo artifacts, the 1886 Great Northern Depot, a caboose, cook car, dress shop, harness shops, a jail, livery, summer kitchen, typical Norwegian house, general store, dolls, a saloon, antique cars, an 1885 log cabin, the Gronvold house, old farm machinery, and an all-faiths church.
