Located along the Red River, the 26-acre Kidder Recreation Area is home to Wahpper, "the world's largest catfish;" garden plots, an arboretum, a fish cleaning station, picnic shelter, restrooms and showers, modern campsites with water and electricity, a boat ramp and fishing piers.
