Experience 200 years of the Shaker way of life at this National Historic Landmark. They have 25 original buildings on their guided tour, which will help you to understand this utopian society. You can stand by and watch crafts being made in the Shaker tradition, stroll through the Physician's Botanical garden, and view archeological remains of old mills and dam sites. The Creamery Restaurant is not to be missed and is open daily for lunch May through October and weekends during April, November, and December. They also have a unique museum store with Shaker reproduction furniture, Shaker books, tapes, and New Hampshire handcrafts.
