Open year-round, the over 5,000-acre Monadnock State Park is a popular location for camping, hiking and picnicking. 40 miles of clearly marked foot trails, the 3,165 foot Mt. Monadnock, "said to be the second most frequently climbed mountain in the world," 28 tent sites, 14 miles of the trail system in the lower elevations for ski touring for the experienced cross country skier and more can be enjoyed at Monadnock State Park.
