  Situated on a 5,500-acre estate overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee at an elevation of 1,300 feet, two miles east of the Route 109 intersection, this historic 16-room mansion is "an unusual example of Arts and Crafts architecture in New England." Owned by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust, Castle in the Clouds is host to several events each year and is a popular destination for weddings.
