The Wilderness Inn is snuggled in the White Mountain National Forest, five miles south of Franconia Notch State Park. They are 3 miles to Loon Mountain and 10 miles to Cannon Mountain ski areas, and just 2 1/2 hours north of Boston. All seven bedrooms and suites, each have a private bath, as well as the Honeymoon cottage overlooking Lost River, are smoke free, individually decorated, and feature photographs and articles of a foreign country. Some rooms with jacuzzi and fireplace. A fabulous hot breakfast is served each morning.
