The Sharon Arts Center is a non-profit organization with a mission to support and serve artists and craftspeople, engage the community in the artistic process, and to foster the relationship between artists and the community through education, exhibitions, the promotion, sale of art and craft and special programs and events. The Sharon Arts Center has two galleries. The Exhibition Gallery at 30 Grove Street features the artwork of regional and nationally acclaimed artists in an invitational format rotating every seven to eight weeks. The Juried Artists' Gallery features the works of 130 juried member artists on a year-round rotating basis. Many fine hand-made craft items can be purchased at Sharon Arts Fine Gallery & Artists' Resource Center at 20-40 Depot Street in Peterborough.
