Located on 3.5 acres in downtown Portsmouth, the arts festival has a long and rich history of successfully presenting music, theater and dance on the banks of the Piscataqua River with no fixed admission, though they do welcome donations. Because of this policy, many people have their first experience with a live performance at Prescott Park. Variety is truly the spice of life at the arts festival where classical ballet is presented right alongside rock n' roll.
