The first bed & breakfast in Portsmouth. The Main House contains three guest rooms furnished with period furniture including queen-size canopy or four-poster beds. The Guest House, circa 1850, contains four rooms with queen-size canopy, spindle, or iron and brass beds, and is connected to the Main House by a short, flower-lined, brick path and patio with a lush water garden. Guests have their own off-street, paved parking lot adjoining the gardens. The Inn is within walking distance of Portsmouth's shops, restaurants and historical attractions. It has been featured in "Country Inns" magazine.
