An Early American open-air living history museum, Historic Cold Spring Village "brings to life the day-to-day activities of villagers living in South Jersey during the “age of homespun" from 1790-1840. Among the Village's 22 acres are a farm where heritage crops are grown, 26 restored antique buildings housing historically-clothed interpreters, and an activity area where you can take part in a variety of projects such as trying on costumes, participating in hands-on crafts and playing games. Housed in the restored Hanger #1, a 92,000 square-foot all-wooden structure listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places; Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum contains over 26 aircraft displays and exhibits of military memorabilia, engines, photographs and more. The museum also features a library, food vending area and a gift shop.
